With pretty music in the background we glided and twirled our way around the preschool room using makeshift paper skates!

"Watch out!" Simple paper skates became flying snowballs in the culminating event of our winter celebration!

Backyard Birdwatching. . .

"Migration" was the watchword as we learned how birds find a winter haven in sunny Arizona. After setting up a bird feeder and painting binoculars we were ready to hit the "birding" trail.

Two pieces of paper, a pad of carpet and you're ready to go! None of us were ready for a "triple-toe-loop" but we enjoyed practicing our ice skating moves just the same.

(Perfect in that there were no "ouches" no cold, wet fingers, and very little mess!)
